The Gunning Patchwork Weekend is held in Gunning on the last weekend in June each year. It provides a wonderful opportunity for people to come and work on a project in the company of other likeminded patchworkers. There are also special workshops on offer with experienced tutors

Started by locals for locals in a year of drought and not much to look forward to, the award-winning Gunning Patchwork Weekend is now a well-loved, well-established tradition and a key event in the community calendar.
In 2023, GPW celebrated 21 years! The hard work of the original committee was celebrated with a dinner and birthday cake. There were lots of swapped stories and reflections on years past.
